Hello Everyone,

Yes, I'm still pregnant. I'm 37-weeks-pregnant today. Only 20 days left until my June 13th due date. And man I hope I've had the baby by then. Lately, I haven't been sleeping well at all. I wake often with horrible pain in my hips and have to roll over only to wake a little while longer and have to roll over to the other side again. And it is very hard to breath right now. I always feel out-of-breathe. Last week at my midwife appointment I actually lost 1/2 a pound! That was great. So far, I have kept on schedule with my weight gain. I haven't reached the dreaded 35 weight again goal yet. Hopefully I won't. This is great since with my other 2 I gained oh like, 50 pounds.

I've been super busy lately getting session 4 done with school and getting ready for the baby's arrival. I have been making a lot of meals and freezing them. And yesterday Daniel and I got the bassinet out. You'd think it would have been a fun, exciting thing, but it wasn't. I still can't believe we are about to have another baby.

We are still grieving the death of our Guido. The kids keep asking when we are going to bring him home from the vet. And then the other day, after I explained to Michael and Sarah again, that he is dead and won't wake up, Michael said, "Well, maybe Jesus can bring him back to life when he comes back to earth." It was so sweet. I started crying immediately. Luckily we were in the car and the kids didn't see. I don't like to cry a lot in front of them because then they get upset as well. It is just so strange not having him around anymore. It's as if the whole world went through some bizarre change and we are in another reality or something. It's hard to explain, but I guess anyone who has ever lost anybody knows exactly what I am talking about.

Anyway, keep checking back for a birth announcement. And please pray for us. Be specific. :-) We are praying for a before due date(next week would be nice), safe, quick home delivery, and a healthy baby, and a healthy mom.

I hope this update find everyone well and safe. Take care and God bless.

Love,
Dawn

P.S. We are all praying for the quick recover of my cousin's oldest son, who is in the hospital with a ruptured appendix. We hope you get better soon, Brian.

Yesterday we had to put our dog, Guido to sleep. His cancer had pretty much taken over and he wasn't eating or drinking anymore. It was the worst thing we ever had to do and I miss him so much. He was such a large part of our lives and a member of our family. His absence was felt immediately and we are all feeling empty right now. I was there when he was born and I was holding him when he died.

So this goes out to Guido. The funniest, sweetest dog ever. We will miss you always and never forget all the joy you have brought to our lives these past 12 years. You were a true "Girly Man" and we will always remember how you chased squirrels, staulked your bisquits, and smiled whenever we came home.

We love you!

Hooray It's May!

I only have about 1 month left of being pregnant! I'm so ready for this to be over. Unfortunately, I'm not ready to have a brand new baby. Sarah has been potty trained for quite some time now and she hardly nurses anymore. Michael just learned how to swing so he spends a lot of his time in the backyard. I feel like I'm starting all over again. Plus I didn't anticipate getting pregnant when I started school last August so I am very behind. I have been struggling to catch-up, but medical transcription is very difficult. Luckily I really enjoy it. I just hope and pray that I can finish in time. The program gives you 18 months and then you can pay for an additional 6 months extension, to finish. If not finished after that you're out of the program and have to repay $3,000 to start over again.

Not much else is new around here. We went to Bible School at the beginning of the month and we had a great time. The beach is very close and we went a couple times. I taught a class and it went very well. Above are some pictures.

Michael only has 2 more weeks of school and he will be off until July when he is enrolled in his school's summer camp. Thanks to Daniel's dad for offering to pay for it. We are very thankful. So Michael will be in camp M-F for 5 weeks and Sarah will be in for 2 of those weeks but only 3 days a week. It will break up the long summer because he doesn't start school again until the end of August. And at that point they should be used to the baby and ready to get out themselves.

Well, above are some pictures and I better get back to school.

Take care and God Bless,
